Year-Round Positions
Camp Director
The Camp Director will enhance the student experience by fostering a culture of support, safety and enrichment to advance the artistic goals of the Meadowmount Community. This person will be responsible for Department of Health compliance, student/counselor health and safety, counselor, kitchen, housekeeping and nursing staff hiring and training, the development of recreational programs, and family communications, among other assigned duties. Seasonal Positions
Camp Nurse
New York State license required. Part-time, relief, and full-time positions. This is a live-in, seven-week position. Accommodations include a private room, three meals per day, housekeeping and laundry service. The camp nurse oversees a three- bedroom infirmary with private office space and private bedroom. CPR for the Professional Rescuer and ARC Responding to Emergency training is required by the New York State Department of Health.
Counselors
Counselor positions are open to those 21 years and older: students, parents/relatives, and others. Counselors receive free room, board, and compensation in the form of either tuition coverage for a designated student accepted and enrolled during the same session or payment (amount TBA). Kitchen Staff
Kitchen Staff full and part time positions are available for adults. Positions for high school aged and up include food prep, dishwashers.
Housekeeping
Seasonal full-time positions for experienced housekeepers. Duties include maintaining the cleanliness of faculty housing, student dormitories, bathrooms, administration offices, teaching studios, entryways and common areas. Start in spring with the opening of facilities and work into early fall with the shutting down of facilities.
Laundry
Seasonal full-time and part-time positions in on-campus laundry facility. Duties include washing, drying and folding student laundry, infirmary linens, curtains, towels, etc. (No ironing.) Laundry staff may start in early spring as a Housekeeper and move into laundry full time when students arrive.
