Tuition and Room & Board

Tuition for 7 Weeks
US $5,450.00
On campus students are responsible for both tuition and room & board fees.
Program tuition includes weekly private lesson, weekly two-hour studio class, chamber music coaching, masterclasses, access to all performances and activities with faculty and guest artists, viola instrument loans, music library, video recordings of all solo performances, Alexander Technique, and yoga classes.
Room & Board for 7 Weeks
US $4,030 plus $65 refundable security deposit
Room and Board includes a private room*, dining services with three meals per day and snacks available during the day, weekly laundry service, housekeeping and maintenance support, access to Main House Common Room (library and games), access to Sally Thomas Recreation Center, tennis courts, and soccer field, organized clubs, activities, and field trips**.
*A double room assignment may be requested and reduces Room & Board fees by $800 per student.
** Some field trips require an additional fee to cover expenses.
Off-Campus Students
For students living off campus or commuting, the total fees are tuition only: US $5,450 plus $65 refundable security deposit.
Enrollment Deposit
Upon acceptance, a US $1,500.00 enrollment deposit, credited toward the tuition, is required to reserve your place. It must be received by Meadowmount by Monday, March 2, 2026 or within one week of receiving your acceptance notification.
The remainder of all fees are due in full by end of day on May 15, 2026. If you are unable to pay the remaining balance owed by this date, please contact Emily Heckel, Director of Admissions and Artistic Administration. Meadowmount reserves the right to move students who have not paid the Enrollment Deposit to the student waitlist.
Program Withdrawal
There are no refunds issued after Meadowmount has received the Enrollment Deposit. For early withdrawal from the program, Meadowmount reserves the right to determine refund amounts for Tuition Fees and Room & Board fees.
Leaves of Absence
There is no reduction in Tuition Fees and Room & Board Fees for late arrivals, leaves of absence, and/or early departures. All attendance exceptions from the full, seven-week program are submitted to the Artistic Director for written approval.
Extra Lessons
Extra lessons are available from Teaching Assistants at the rate of US $50 per hour.
Extra lessons may be arranged with faculty members, based on availability, at the rate of US $130 per hour. All extra lesson fees must be paid directly to the school office by check, credit card, or cash. Extra lessons with chamber faculty, visiting faculty, and guest artists may be arranged, based on availability at a rate to be confirmed with the Main Office.
Luthier Services
Luthier services are available throughout the summer for bow rehairs, instrument repairs, and purchase of equipment and supplies. Payments due for services are the responsibility of the student.
