Support our Students. Meadowmount School of Music has been America’s most respected and beloved summer home for rising generations of violinists, violists, and cellists

Support Our Students

The ability to offer a student a scholarship to offset tuition often makes the difference as to whether a young artist attends Meadowmount. Currently, 40% of Meadowmount students receive scholarship funds, and it is our goal to be able to offer robust scholarship support to 100% of our students through our Scholarship Fund.

We encourage donors to consider setting up a current use or endowed scholarship, which provides assistance to students over multiple years through a single gift.

Enrich Our Programs

Master classes and private coaching sessions with our guest artists throughout the summer are an integral part of the high quality experience that makes a difference for Meadowmount students. Support for Faculty and Guest Artists provides students with essential opportunities to learn from and play alongside distinguished musicians visiting our campus during the summer session.

Care for Our Campus

Meadowmount’s iconic campus within the Adirondacks provides a secluded and safe environment for our students to dedicate focus to their musical development. Our continued efforts to care for the campus includes the expansion of air conditioning throughout our dormitories, upgrades to the Concert Hall, preservation of our historical resources, and restoring the Josef Gingold Library. Contributions to support these projects is essential and we appreciation support towards our Buildings and Grounds projects.

Further Our Community Connection

Each season, Meadowmount performs more than thirty public concerts. Local community members are invited on to our campus and surrounding concert venues, while partnerships with classical music content providers such as The Violin Channel enable Meadowmount’s music to be shared with public audiences around the world through live streamed events.

As the reach of Meadowmount’s music grows with its demand, costs associated with high quality production, off campus performances, and pre- and post-season opportunities also rise. Your support to Meadowmount makes our concert season and livestreams possible.
